Jurassic Haunt: Pirates of the Prehistoric — Lakeland — Dinosaur World, 5145 Harvey Tew Road, Plant City, FL — 2026-10-18 — Dinosaur World Florida gets a spooky makeover this fall for Jurassic Haunt: Pirates of the Prehistoric, running select nights from September 26 through November 1. This family-friendly Halloween event features a glowing, sound-filled haunted train ride, fog-filled scare zones, and an extra-spooky loop through Mammoth Gardens. Guests can enjoy face painting, stop by the temporary tattoo station, and explore several of the park's attractions after dark, including hands-on digs and prehistoric exhibits. A new secret scare zone joins the lineup this year. Costumes are encouraged, and admission is included with annual passes. Season passes are also available for guests who want to return throughout the event.
